I wanted to depict the e- mergence, completion and passing away of the univer- se. The emergence out of Tao, just like a drop, activating the water in concentric waves. In the card, a little cloud in the corner forms this ‘center of light.’ The rings of light dissolve outward into ‘creation’ and become the street scene. In the lower corner of the collage you see cars and cyclists appear. From there, a movement in- ward arises again, and the street scene and building slowly change into kites, seeking their way back to Tao, as the Origin and Unity of the cosmos. The tip of the ‘prawncracker roof’ ultimately forms a delicate golden circle a- round the ‘Primordial Sun’.
